*We will try to raise some money by conducting a "Fishbowl" Raffle at our Christmas party.

*Becky Wiles gave the Treasurer's Report.  We now have a tax iIdentification number and a business checking account with $1,246.85.  Also it was discovered that we would need $400 to be designated a non-profit organization.  We will discuss whether we need to go this route.

The business was followed by a presentation by Kelly French, a Fish and Wildlife officer stationed at Dulles airport.  She explained to us the purpose of CITES in order to try to protect plants and animals all over the world "by regulating their use in commercial trade."
